Accessibility

Do you need an ASL interpreter? (required)
Are you bringing a service animal to ACF? (required)

Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a service animal is a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability.

ACF is a festival by and for climbers with disabilities. This helps us understand who's coming and plan accordingly — adaptive techniques, gear, crag selection, and support. There's no right or wrong way to describe your disability. The more we know, the more we can make sure ACF is accessible for you!

Mobility devices used

This helps us plan crags, rope systems, gear, and support. The more specific, the better. For example, "I have paralysis in my legs and cannot use them for footholds."

Have you ever served in the military or armed forces of any country? (required)

Climbing Experience

Have you attended ACF before? (required)
Have you rock climbed outside before? (required)

Agreements

I understand that ACF is a place where I need to wear a helmet while in and around climbing areas. Refusing to wear a helmet in climbing areas and clinics at ACF may result in my removal from climbing activities at the Festival.

ACF climbing areas and clinics are reserved for registered paraclimbers only. I understand that plus ones, caregivers, and volunteers are not permitted to climb in ACF areas or clinics due to limited space. If I would like to climb with family or friends, I will use areas outside the festival's reserved space.

I understand that my pet dog, emotional support animal, or any other non-trained service animal that I may have is not allowed to come climb with us at Muir Valley.
